This darling book shares a sweet outlook on an adventure and describes the gifts that are all around us beautifully. The way Aileen Joy describes each miracle and best of all Mira's returns home to be with friends is so well written. It's the first book I think to give for friends with little ones.
I purchased this book for my 4 year old niece. She absolutely loved it!! She was engaged in the story and would often point out all of the cute animals on each page. When I read it to my niece, she had her neighbor friend over, and afterwards they decided to go look for "miracles." The book sends a wonderful message to the youth of today that you can find miracles in nearly everything.
This talented author and illustrator crafted an intriging story with a beautiful message about finding joy in the ordinary by simply seeking out those moments. I was honored to attend the Aileen's debut reading that have musical accompaniment. Like all great children's literature, it's appealing to adults as well. Bravo!

My 4 year old absolutely loved this book! She read it over and over. She even said if she could fly she would lie on top of the clouds, as well!
